Description:	We propose to develop an educational module that explains the basic concepts of radioactivity and demonstrates the presence of alpha, beta, and gamma emitting isotopes in several common household materials. This module will be aimed at high school teachers and their students and will include hands-on experiments that can easily be performed by the teachers and students.
