The
objective of the project is to respond to the recommendation
of the National Research Council regarding the teaching
of science: students at all grade levels should learn
about science by conducting experiments, not by learning
from a book. The Connections Project proposes that
interactive multi-disciplinary exhibits be created
to engage students through hands-on activities and
increase student understanding of basic concepts of
physics and their application. |
