Description: ADDventures in Physics aims at improving high school physics teaching through reaching students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). A proposed hands-on, conceptual physics curriculum provides the necessary key elements essential in captivating and maintaining student interest in physics and science in general. These necessary curriculum modifications include variety, movement, immediate feedback, kinesthetic activities, and visual emphasis. The program is intended to serve as a model for other physics programs seeking innovative ways to reach ADHD students and increase student participation in physics.
